A recent amendment to the KiwiSaver Act 2006 means KiwiSaver scheme providers are required to restructure the way their KiwiSaver schemes are governed by 1 October 2012. For the OnePath KiwiSaver Scheme and the ANZ KiwiSaver Scheme, this took effect on 21 September 2012. For the SIL KiwiSaver Scheme, this took effect on 28 September 2012.
