OnePath is more than just a name, it’s a commitment we make to our customers to assist them in their journey to financial wellbeing. With new ownership, a new name, logo and look, and a renewed brand promise our future has never looked brighter.
A proud history
A lot of water has passed under the bridge since we opened our doors, as Armstrong Jones, over 20 years ago. We’ve transformed from a boutique fund manager to one of this country’s largest financial services providers through steady growth and smart acquisitions like Club Life, Urbus and Calan.
And of course, we changed our name to ING and formed a joint venture with ANZ. If there’s a lesson to be learnt from this long and proud history, it’s that change is not only a constant but it’s also essential for growth. The trick is to learn from your successes, and your failures, and to use them to shape a better future.

While we may have changed a lot on the outside, on the inside we’ve remained a people focused business working to help Kiwis shape the quality of their lives.
Our reason for existing is to provide a clear path to create and protect the financial freedom of all New Zealanders, whatever path they choose to take. Our new name, OnePath, was chosen because it’s distinctive, straightforward and positive – but most of all, it articulates our reason for being.
Our logo consists of the OnePath words and symbol, representing a stylised depiction of a path. It also represents the partnership between us and our customers – moving forward together. The endorsement line reinforces the strength that comes from being part of the ANZ family.
Our primary colour is green. Green is warm, approachable, energetic, modern and fresh. Just like us. But green isn’t our only colour; you will see a broad down-to-earth colour palette throughout our material.
